When she first arrived at the shelter with her littermates, she was shy and unsure, overwhelmed by all the new sights and sounds. But thanks to gentle care and patience, Shay has blossomed into a loving, affectionate little girl who's ready to share her sweet nature with the right home.
This chatty girl enjoys soft meows and quiet conversations, especially when she's in the mood for chin scratches and gentle pats. Her affection is genuine and tender, and she'll happily show her love once she feels safe and comfortable.
Shay still prefers calm surroundings and would thrive in a peaceful home with an understanding adopter who respects her need for space when she asks for it. Older children who can read cat body language and give her the time she needs to settle will be a great match.
