Hi, I’m Lenny

Say hello to Lenny, a plucky little pup with a big personality and even bigger potential! This energetic, cheeky guy has had a bit of a rough start - but he's making up for lost time with lots of zoomies, tail wags, and curiosity.

Lenny is incredibly smart and super food motivated (seriously, treats are his love language). He's still learning his manners and all about life, so he'll need a family who's excited to keep up with his training and help him grow into the amazing dog we know he's meant to be. He will need ongoing support through training and management due to missing out some important socialisation and exposure as a young boy.

He can be a little unsure in new environments and can be a bit worried and will need some time to soak in his new environment. But give him a bit of time (and maybe a snack or two), and he'll be your shadow before you know it! A crate or a comfy "success station" will help him feel safe, give him space to chill, and let him enjoy fun enrichment toys while learning how great the world can be.

Lenny would do best in a very calm home with not a lot of foot traffic
and best with teens or kids at least 10 and older as we want them to be part of his training journey and be has also shown some mouthiness, especially towards the smaller kids.
He'd also love a confident, well-socialized doggy buddy to show him the ropes and be his partner in fun (and naps!), but is not a requirement. He can be worried by other boisterous dogs, so a calm, tolerant friend would be his choice.
