Hi, I’m Arlo

Meet Arlo - a teenage goofball with a big brain, an even bigger heart, and a strong belief that personal space is optional (especially at bedtime).
Shelter life? Not really his vibe. But in foster care, Arlo truly shines-relaxed, affectionate, and ready to be your loyal sidekick.
Arlo is super smart and loves anything that keeps his mind busy. Puzzle toys, enrichment games, chew toys-you name it, he's all in.
When it's time to sleep, Arlo is very committed to being close to his humans... ideally on the bed, preferable snuggled into his human, and he's definitely convinced he belongs there.
He's making great progress with toilet training and will usually take himself outside if the door is left open-what a polite young man.
Like many teenage dogs, Arlo can get a bit mouthy when he's excited (think: overenthusiastic puppy energy), but it's easily redirected and he's learning quickly.
Arlo is looking for a home where he'll be the only pet. While he can be calm and polite around other dogs on lead, he gets a little too excited and forgets how to act appropriately. He'll need an owner who's happy to help him learn to stay calm and indifferent around other dogs, rather than expecting him to make lots of dog friends.
Arlo has so much potential and so much love to give. All he's dreaming of is a comfy couch, a warm bed, and a human to call his own (and yes... he will absolutely try to claim your bed if your happy with that!)
