The Jacinta of all trades
Jacinta (pictured below on right) is one of our standout volunteers who wears many hats at the RSPCA. Whether she's helping out with fundraising, working alongside our learning and development team, supporting our corporate partnerships team, helping out customers at our shelters, or tackling the never-ending pile of laundry (think towels, blankets, and more!), Jacinta is always there. Already, she has contributed nearly 3,000 hours to RSPCA Queensland, and we couldn't be more grateful for her tireless dedication!
The Queen of Felines
Elizabeth volunteers as an Animal Care Assistant and has quickly become an essential part of our team. With a strong desire to make a difference and gain practical experience, she has completed Levels 1 and 2 in cat training, all while helping animals in need. Elizabeth's commitment to animal welfare shines through every task she takes on, and we're lucky to have her as part of our volunteer family.
Adaptable Elsi
Elsi’s volunteer journey at the RSPCA is nothing short of inspiring! She actively supports a variety of areas, from animal care to customer assistance, animal behaviour and enrichment, and even fundraising and laundry operations. Volunteering her precious time multiple days each week, Elsi’s positive attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever she’s needed make her an invaluable asset to our team. She truly embodies the spirit of volunteerism!
Jessica’s unwavering compassion
Jessica has just hit a major milestone - over 1,000 hours of volunteering at the RSPCA! With a heart full of love for animals, she dedicates herself to ensuring every animal receives top-notch care. Whether she's on grooming duties or supporting our foster programs, Jessica brings dedication and compassion to everything she does.
Wrapping animals with love
Kirsten has a special gift when it comes to connecting with animals. Her calm demeanour and gentle approach help our animals feel more at ease in new environments, offering them comfort during stressful times. Whether she’s helping animals adjust to their new surroundings or supporting their overall wellbeing, Kirsten’s volunteer work is invaluable!
Joy’s bringing smiles to all around
Joy’s amazing 3,500 hours of volunteering span a variety of roles at the RSPCA, and she does it all with a beaming smile. From sorting donations at our Op Shops to greeting incoming animals at our Domestic Hospital reception and supporting our fundraising efforts, Joy is a consistent and cheerful presence at the RSPCA. She’s always up for a chat, and her love for volunteering shines through in every task she tackles!
